Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy briefly explains what information is collected from people who visit and use madenough.com, how it is used and how it is protected. The detailed legal information is in the Privacy Notice (KVKK); read the two together. This English version is a courtesy translation; in case of any difference, the Turkish text prevails.

2. What we collect

You do not need to give any information to browse the site. When you apply for membership, use the contact form, create an account or buy a package, you give your name, email, phone and other details the action needs (such as a billing address) yourself.

While you use the site, your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit are written automatically to server logs. If you accept cookies, statistical measurement data is also collected through Google Analytics.

We never ask for or see your card number, expiry date or security code; you enter them only on the bank's secure payment page. We do not ask for your Turkish ID number or health information.

3. How we use your information

To evaluate your application, run your membership and bookings, take payments and issue invoices, send you booking confirmations, reminders and account emails, answer your questions, keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.

We send campaign, event and announcement emails only if you separately give permission, which you can withdraw at any time. Not giving it does not affect your membership.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing. We share it only with the organisations needed to provide the service: the payment provider (Yapı Kredi POSNET), the email service (Google Workspace; servers abroad, see the KVKK notice), hosting (AltunHost, Istanbul), and our accountant and invoicing service.

If you accept cookies, measurement data is transferred to Google. We may also share information with public authorities where the law requires it.

5. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies: when you sign in, the __Host-me_member (member) and __Host-me_staff (staff) cookies keep your session. They are needed to run the site and do not require consent.

Measurement cookies: Google Analytics 4 runs only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, no measurement cookie is loaded. Your choice is kept in your browser as “me-consent” for 180 days; you can change it at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page.

We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Security

Your connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored one-way encrypted; only authorised staff can access the admin panel, and their actions are logged. To keep others out of your account, do not share your password and sign out on shared devices.

No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

7. How long we keep it

Periods depend on the purpose: rejected applications 1 year, contact messages 2 years, membership and order-invoice records 10 years from the end of the relationship. The detailed list is in section 8 of the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

8. Your rights

You can learn what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to info@madenough.com; the method and the full list of your rights are in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

9. Children

Membership applications are open to people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if we notice such a record, we delete it.
