House rules

Rules of the Centre

Rules on membership, use of the centre, conduct and safety.

Membership

Article 1Your membership application

By completing and submitting your membership application through the Mad Enough website, you agree to be bound by these rules of the Centre.

For membership and class packages that require an application, applications are reviewed by the management, whose decision is final; packages that do not require an application (such as the One Shot, Recovery and Microformer packages) can be bought by anyone who signs up.

You are free to withdraw your application at any time. If you wish to do so, please contact our membership team at info@madenough.com. If your membership application is accepted, we will confirm this by email. The validity period of what you buy starts at the moment your payment is confirmed.

Article 2Proposing new members

Members may propose new applicants to join Mad Enough?. The application form is available at madenough.com/basvuru.

Article 3Membership renewal

Membership is for a period of at least one month or one year, and can then be renewed monthly or annually.

Membership renewals are not automatic; to renew you buy a new package, and the management reviews the continuation of memberships annually.

Article 4Membership database

It is important to us that our membership database holds your up-to-date details. By becoming a member of Mad Enough, you agree that your personal information may be kept for use in connection with your membership. If your contact or billing details change, please update them on the profile page of your account or let us know at info@madenough.com.

Article 5Membership payment

Once your membership is approved or renewed, your membership fees become payable immediately. By giving us your payment details, you agree to your membership fees being collected as requested by Mad Enough when your application is approved or renewed. We may change our membership fees at any time at our discretion, and we will notify you in advance of any change to the amount, date or frequency of your membership fees. If you tell us in advance the month or period you will be away, the management extends the validity period of your entitlement by that time; your membership counts as frozen for that period and you pay no extra charge.

In these rules, “class coins” means the class entitlements (credits) in your account. During a frozen period your entitlements cannot be used and their periods are extended as described above.

After the membership application process, members who have paid the annual Centre membership fee may, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Centre’s introductory credit, buy food and drink products in the Centre for a separate charge, join group workouts, and use the work areas, wet area and fitness equipment in the Centre during the set hours outside classes.

Article 6Leaving your membership

If you have chosen monthly or annual payment and decide to leave your membership, you must notify us by email at info@madenough.com two weeks before the date on which you wish to cancel.

Article 7Membership cards

To enter the Centre, you must use your personal code. Entry to the Centre is not possible other than with a personal code, and a personal code may not be used by anyone else.

Members must also present their personal code when paying if they sit down to eat or drink something.

If any member allows their personal code to be used by a non-member, the non-member will be refused entry to the Centre or removed from it, and the membership of the member who owns the code may be suspended or terminated.

Booking and cancellation

Article 1Booking

Bookings are made from the programme page of your account. You can book a session up to 14 days in advance.

A booking uses one class entitlement (credit) from your package. Memberships with unlimited classes do not use up an entitlement, but each package only lets you book the sessions it covers. You can book the same session only once.

Article 2Cancellation and no-shows

If you cancel at least 12 hours before the session starts, your class entitlement is returned to your account.

If you cancel later than that (a late cancellation) or do not attend, the entitlement is used up. No additional penalty applies for not attending.

Article 3Waiting list

You can join the waiting list for a full session. If a place opens up, the next member on the list is added to the session automatically and informed by email; the entitlement is used at that moment and the late cancellation rule applies.

If fewer than 2 hours remain before the session, no one is added from the waiting list automatically.

Article 4Session cancelled by us

If we cancel a session, the class entitlement of everyone booked on it is returned automatically and they are informed by email.

Article 5Validity of entitlements

Class entitlements can be used during the validity period of the package; when it ends, unused entitlements expire. The validity period starts at the moment your payment is confirmed.

Use of the centre

Article 1Guests

Members may bring up to two guests with them to the Centre at any one time, but please note that at very busy times we may have to restrict member and guest access to certain areas of the Centre. A member’s guests may not enter the Centre unless that member is present. Members may not be separated from their guests within the Centre, and may not allow their guests to remain in the Centre when they leave. Members are responsible for making sure their guests comply with all of the Centre’s rules and policies, even when the guests are not with them, and a member’s membership may be suspended or terminated if their guests breach these rules and policies. Guest entry is managed by reception at the Centre; guests cannot be booked through the website.

Article 2Children

The Centre is designed for adults, but aims to be child-friendly. When you bring your children, who count as part of your guest allowance, please be considerate of other members.

Please remember that your children are your responsibility at all times while in the Centre, and make sure they are never left unsupervised.

Article 3Animals

Animals are not allowed in the Centre, other than legally recognised service animals.

Article 4Personal expenses

All payments must be settled in full before leaving the Centre; members do not have the option of paying at a later date.

Members are also responsible for their guests’ bills. If a member’s or their guests’ bill is not paid, the member may face suspension of their membership.

Article 5The Centre

Mad Enough spaces are designed as casual, relaxed areas. Members and their guests should be mindful of the events they host in order to protect this atmosphere.

Article 6Respect for private space

Given that the Centre is a private place away from the media, members and their guests should take care when approaching people who may regard it as unwanted attention and may not wish to be disturbed. Such behaviour may lead to suspension or termination of membership.

Article 7Mobile phones and laptops

To preserve the relaxed, home-like atmosphere, members may make phone calls outside the work areas and may use laptops in a way that does not disturb anyone. Members must make sure their guests comply with our phone and laptop policy.

Article 8Cameras and recording devices

No camera, video or other recording device, whether live streaming or otherwise, and whether on a mobile phone or any other medium, may be used in the Centre to record in a way that another member would appear.

Members are responsible for making sure their guests also comply with this rule. We reserve the right to confiscate any mobile phone, camera, video or other recording device used or carried in the Centre, and any photographs, videos or other recorded images.

Visual shoots in which no members appear in the background are permitted.

Article 9Food and drink

No outside food or drink, other than water, may be brought into or consumed in the Centre. This includes packed lunches, snacks and alcoholic drinks. The only exception is a valid medical reason.

Article 10Smoking

Smoking or vaping is never permitted inside the Centre. Mad Enough reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to prohibit or restrict smoking in any outdoor area of the Centre at any time.

Article 11Use of equipment and facilities

The use of any gym, fitness equipment, area or facility in the Centre is entirely the member’s own responsibility. Members are not allowed to bring guests into the gym.

Ask our instructors how to use the gym or fitness equipment safely and correctly. You should not use any equipment or take part in any activity in the Centre unless you are sure you are competent to do so safely and appropriately. You will also need to complete a health declaration confirming that you are in good health and fit to use our gyms.

When using the equipment and facilities in the Centre, you must take care to protect your own health and safety and that of other people. You alone will be responsible for any damage or injury you cause to yourself, to other people, or to the equipment or facilities by using them in an unsafe or inappropriate way. This includes using them while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or failing to tell staff about a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facilities.

Conduct

Article 1Drugs, substances and items

No member or guest may buy, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs or other substances, or attempt to do so together with any member or guest. No member or guest may ask any Centre staff for illegal drugs or other substances while in the Centre building or its immediate surroundings. No member or guest may occupy a closed toilet cubicle together with another person. If any of the above acts is proven, the member and/or guest concerned will be removed from the Centre and the membership in question will be terminated.

Article 2Disciplinary procedure

Behaviour by a member or guest that damages the reputation and character of Mad Enough may result in that member or guest being suspended or expelled. Such behaviour may include inappropriate, violent or abusive conduct, or passing information about the Centre’s affairs, its members or its guests to the media. An expelled member may not return to any Centre as a guest. Any refund of an expelled member’s dues will be at Mad Enough’s discretion. A member or members who deliberately remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to members or guests in the Centre will be liable for expulsion from membership and/or suspension or termination of their membership.

Article 3

From the moment they are accepted as a member, each member undertakes to comply at all times with Mad Enough’s rules, statutes and regulations. If Mad Enough considers, in its absolute discretion, that the conduct of any member (or their guests), inside or outside the Centre building, is contrary to Mad Enough’s interests, Mad Enough may immediately remove the member or guest from the Centre and/or suspend or terminate the membership of that member or guest without having to give any reason.

If a member’s membership is suspended for any reason, Mad Enough reserves the right, at its discretion, to collect that member’s membership dues and fees for the duration of the suspension.

Personal data and privacy

Article 1Your personal information

We will use the personal information you give us in connection with your membership in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Article 2Confidentiality

Mad Enough management and all staff are required to observe the strictest standards of confidentiality and to keep all records and personal information about members and their guests in the strictest confidence.

Events

While you are a member or guest at the Centre, we may ask you to share your views about Mad Enough and your experiences at Mad Enough. We may also film, video or photograph our member events and activities at the Centre, in addition to our membership programmes, for use in advertising, promotion, public relations and our other commercial and business purposes. If you take part in these interviews or events, you agree that we may use your name, your image and limited other information about you. You also allow us to publish any material produced by us or for us for any purpose without any further consent from you, and you waive any right to receive payment from us in connection with such publication. When we hold events at the Centre that we are recording, we will try to display signs making this clear to members and guests.

Safety and security

Article 1Accidents and injuries

We want all our members and guests to relax and to enjoy the activities and facilities at the Centre safely.

Members and their guests agree to comply with the rules of the Centre and with all signs posted or displayed at any time.

If a member or guest has an accident or is injured at or near the Centre, please tell a member of staff as soon as possible, and in any case within 24 hours of the incident. Besides putting the wellbeing of our members and guests first, this information is needed to help us comply with our health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes.
